Version: 2.0 — Update date: February 11, 2025.
The chat bubble provided by Polaria Tech uses cookies to ensure that it functions properly and provide you with a smooth chat experience. In fact, some trackers are stored on your browser to identify you during the chat session, keep track of the conversation and remember any preferences. Without these cookies, the chat bubble simply could not function properly. This policy aims to inform you about the nature of these cookies, their purpose, their storage period and your choices in this area, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and the guidelines of the CNIL.
Cookies strictly necessary for the service (functional): These cookies are essential for the functioning of the chat bubble and for the provision of the messaging service you requested. In particular, they make it possible to recognize you from one page to another, to remember your conversation ID and the history of your exchanges. Without them, it would be impossible to maintain the continuity of the discussion — for example, each new page would reload a new empty chat session. They may also store certain preferences related to the chat interface (for example, minimizing the chat window) in order to improve your experience. These cookies do not collect
information for advertising or tracking purposes and is only used for online communication expressly requested by the user (your conversation with us). In accordance with the regulations, their deposit is exempt from prior consent because their sole purpose is to allow or facilitate this electronic communication.
Usage measurement cookies (internal statistics): The Polaria Tech chat bubble product does not use advertising cookies or profiling trackers. However, purely internal audience measurement cookies could be used on an aggregate basis to improve the service (for example, to know how many users open the chat bubble or if the response times are satisfactory). If necessary, these statistical cookies would be configured in such a way as to comply with the CNIL's consent exemptions (anonymous and limited audience measurement) or, failing that, subject to your explicit consent. To date, no third-party analysis cookie is placed by the chat bubble without your consent. Our priority is to use only what is necessary for the instant support you require.

The names of the elements listed above, including cookies, local storage, session storage, are likely to change very slightly over time. However, these possible variations in names do not affect the nature or validity of the elements themselves, which remain consistent with the purposes indicated in this policy.
notes : The names above are indicative — Polaria Tech chat bubble cookies may appear under internal technical names. They are deposited by the Polaria Tech service (Polaria Tech) via the chat bubble script integrated on our site. In some cases, these cookies may be associated with our domain name or that of Polaria Tech (as a technical third party), but their use is strictly limited to the operation described above. They do not contain directly identifying personal data (only technical identifiers or configuration information). In addition, the Polaria Tech chat bubble needs these cookies to function properly — if you block them, the chat bubble will be disabled and you will not be able to use it.
In accordance with the RGPD and the Data Protection Act, you have rights with respect to data concerning you, including those related to cookies. You have the right to refuse or delete cookies. However, we draw your attention to the fact that deactivating the chat bubble cookies will prevent its normal functioning. If you still want to block these cookies, you can set your browser to refuse or delete them. Be aware that by doing this, the Polaria Tech chat bubble will be unavailable, because disabling cookies is the same as disabling the chat bubble itself. In other words, the use of the chat bubble implies implicit consent to the use of cookies strictly necessary for its service, since these cookies have the sole purpose of allowing the communication that you initiate by opening the chat window.
Of course, apart from these essential technical cookies, no non-essential cookies will be placed without your prior consent. If in the future we should use audience measurement cookies or other optional trackers via the chat bubble, we will inform you and your agreement will be requested. You can change your preferences in this area at any time (for example via the site's cookie consent banner, if applicable, or your browser settings). Your other RGPD rights (access, rectification, deletion, deletion, opposition, portability, limitation) remain fully applicable. For any questions relating to cookies or your personal data, we invite you to consult our Privacy Policy and to contact us using the contact details provided.
We are committed to ensuring that the use of cookies by the Polaria Tech chat bubble is in compliance with the RGPD and the recommendations of the CNIL. The cookies we use for the chat bubble are configured in such a way as to minimize the impact on your privacy: their retention period is limited to what is necessary, and their sole purpose is to facilitate your browsing and online exchanges. According to article 82 of the Data Protection Act (transposition of the ePrivacy Directive), cookies that are strictly necessary for the provision of a service expressly requested by the user are exempt from prior consent. This is the case of our chat bubble: the cookie that allows you to maintain your chat session is essential to put you in immediate contact with our support, a service that you are requesting by using the chat bubble. The CNIL itself recognizes, for example, that “holding an individual chat implies the creation of a cookie in your browser” and that this cookie, which is strictly functional, is exempt from consent.
By deploying the chat bubble without requesting prior consent, we ensure that we respect these provisions: only trackers exempt from consent (essential or anonymous) are used in this context. We do not track advertising or share data with third parties via the chat bubble. The use of the chat bubble is therefore transparent and limited to the scope of your voluntary interaction with our service.
We update this policy as our practices change (for example, adding a new cookie). Any substantial changes will be communicated on this page. By continuing to use our support chat, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the use of these cookies and accept their implementation under the conditions above. We remain at your disposal for any further information on the management of your data and how we ensure their protection.
